thank you-001

a bit of a rant…..

September 16, 2009

sorry but I just have to vent for a minute

picture this…on our way home tonight, a cop in front of us, watches as a truck pulling a trailer pass a car who was going the speed limit on two lane city street in the LEFT land!!!  Do you wonder what the wonderful Phoenix police do?  He doesn’t even hesitate, he passes the same car still doing the speed limit in the LEFT lane!!!  No lights, no sirens, no emergency to go to.  NOT even to pull over the car that passed illegally.  No the cop passes illegally in the left lane as well and then proceeds on his way turning a block or two later! I guess passing on the left is legal in phoenix???  What the heck?

now….back to your regularly scheduled programing.

One last picture from the weekend

September 13, 2009

and this one just about sums it all up.  A great week off for me, a great weekend with my family and as the temperatures start to cool off even the dog is happy and content.

Kids Build A Bear Card Class

September 13, 2009

Yesterday was the first Kids Club I have held and while it was small, it was still fun.  Today I am sharing pictures of my granddaughter Micaela who was thrilled to get to use the sizzix and make some cards.  Here are two pictures of her and her cards from the class.

A hybrid Stampin Up project

September 13, 2009

This one is still missing something but here it is anyway.  A photo project I have been working on using the Stampin Up Thoughts and Prayers Tree from the Definately Decorative line and the picture and stamped saying are done digitally with the new My Digital Studio program.

This is a close up of the define your life stamp saying that I was able to enlarge for this project in the SU My Digital Studio program.

A close up of our goofy family photo matted and then printed from the SU My Digital Studio program as well.
